Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Questify ("Questify", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Questify mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We collect the minimum information needed to run your account and sync your progress:

• Account information. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique, stable identifier for your account and, if you choose to share it, your name. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
• Profile data you provide. Your display name and chosen companion/avatar.
• Gameplay data. The quests you create, completion history, streaks, XP, gold, character stats, badges, and league standing — i.e. everything needed to make the app work.
• Purchase data. If you buy a premium subscription, our payments partner (see Section 4) shares purchase and subscription status with us. Questify never sees or stores your full payment card details.
• Device and diagnostic information. Basic technical data (such as app version and device type) that helps us diagnose crashes and bugs.

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account and sync it across your devices.
• Operate core gameplay features: quests, streaks, stats, badges, and leagues/leaderboards.
• Process and manage premium subscriptions and entitlements.
• Respond to support requests you send us.
• Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Questify relies on a small number of trusted service providers to operate:

• Apple (Sign in with Apple). Used for secure authentication.
• Firebase (Google). Used for authentication and to securely store your account and gameplay data in the cloud so it syncs across devices.
• RevenueCat. Used to process and manage in-app subscriptions and purchases on our behalf; billing itself is handled by the Apple App Store / Google Play.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection obligations.

We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion (see Section 7), we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and access-controlled cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@questify.quest. You can also delete your account directly from the app's settings screen.

Questify is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, via our infrastructure providers. We take steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we'll notify you in the app.
